Pat Colin is a distinguished marine scientist and co-founder of the Coral Reef Research Foundation in Palau, recognized for decades of pioneering research in reef fish spawning, marine biodiversity, and coral reef ecosystems across the Atlantic and Pacific. Having completed over 10,000 scientific dives and authored 62 scientific papers and four books, he has made lasting contributions to marine science, conservation, and oceanographic research.
Pat Colin will debut his memoir Oceans to Fly at the WestPac Oceanography Symposium in February 2027.
